- Have you tried printing from FW to a postscript file, then printing
- the postscript file to the printer using one of the several postscript
- utils around (Post, HWGPost etc. etc.)
-
- In my own tests I get A4 pages with lots of text and EPS clipart
- printed in about 90s, compared to over 400s when printing the same
- page directly through FW. If the page is in landscape format, FW
- slows down even more, whereas Post or whatever doesn`t. Basically,
- my printing times are now tied to the speed of my BJ10, rather
- than the speed at which my Miggy can spit out the data.
-
- Also, FW is now only tied up for as long as it takes to create the
- EPS file, and at a few seconds/page, this isn`t long, even with
- big documents.

- Ouch. This makes buying the all-in-one BJ10 cartridge seem
- not so expensive...
